Ridgeway Golf Club | Cardiff Wedding Photography

Nicole & Daniel

As a South Wales wedding photographer based in Cwmbran, Cardiff venues such as Ridgeway Golf Club are not far at all and travel expenses are included in all wedding photography prices.

This couple booked me for full day photography, meaning that I'd be with them from the start of getting ready in the morning up until just after the evening reception starts. Due to Covid-19 however, their wedding day was cut short slightly so we chose to go for a few extra photos after everyone had left.
Albums are included in every package, so they received a beautiful album plus a canvas and a folio box as part of Package Three. I look forward to seeing them and their family and friends again later this year for their belated evening reception!

Located between Caerphilly and Cardiff, Ridgeway Golf Club has wonderful views and allows you to have photos around their golf course on your wedding day. They offer use of their marquee or wedding garden.

As part of full day photography packages, a pre-wedding photoshoot is included. This couple chose to have theirs at Castell Coch about 7 months before their big day.
These shoots are a great way of getting to know each other before your big day so we're not complete strangers! I can find out how comfortable you both are with showing affection in public and you can see how I work. This can also take away one of the stresses of your wedding day by easing your nerves around having your photos taken!

Cardiff wedding photography by Cwmbran, South Wales and Gloucestershire photographer, Jackie Cuff.

Nicole & Daniel got married at Ridgeway Golf Club in April 2021. We initially met during a three-way video chat at their consultation during the pandemic, leading onto their pre-shoot at Castell Coch! This was such a great opportunity for us to get to know each other and for the couple to feel more at ease in front of the camera ready for the big day. I started their wedding day by arriving at the Mother of the Bride's house for bridal prep, where I started to get some photos of the accessories such as the flowers and jewellery. A lot of thought goes into choosing these little details so I like to make sure it's all captured as part of your wedding day.
As the bridal party arrived to get ready, I made sure to get some lovely natural photos (these are my favourite kind!). It was soon time to leave the bridal party behind and head to the venue to get some photos of the room before anyone had entered, capturing more details of the day such as the cake and favours. The ceremony soon started followed by group photos, speeches, cutting the cake, Mr & Mrs game and the couple's first dance. It was lovely to see so many of the usual elements of a wedding day again after all of the covid restrictions!
We then went on to having a ride around in a golf buggy, to take some photos around the golf course then followed by a few more outside of the Mother of the Bride's house just before sunset! It was a lovely day and I thoroughly enjoyed capturing every minute of it!
