Sam & Andy got married in the Luscombe Room at Mansion House, Newport in September 2021. They had chosen to have a late ceremony at 3pm so opted to book my flexible short day package. I'll be there for the moments you ask for, with flexible timings so I won't charge extra or leave if the timings don't go as scheduled!
They had a pre-wedding photoshoot included with their booking; these are a great way for us to get to know each other a little before the big day and in this couple's case they brought along Sam's son. It's always a good idea to bring along any little ones so that they can familiarise themselves with me so that they're comfortable around me on your wedding day. We went to Caldicot Castle for theirs and had some fun in and around the grounds.
After the ceremony was over, we all headed to the Mother and Step-Father of the bride's house in Cwmbran to have a marquee reception in their garden. Once all of the group photos were done, I made sure to get lots of details such as their cake and decorations then lots of natural photos of all of their guests enjoying themselves. We all enjoyed some delicious food from a private chef called Amy Nancollis along with a hog roast from a separate company. I always ask that I'm given some food on your wedding day so that I'm able to function and give you amazing photos! Later on there were some very emotional speeches due to many loved ones not being with us to celebrate, this was followed by the newlyweds' first dance and the cutting of their cake.
