Lucy & Ashley got married at St. Andrew's Church, Churchdown in April 2021. They were one of many couples that had postponed many times and had decided that no matter what the restrictions were, they were going to tie the knot!
We had a lovely time at their pre-wedding photoshoot in October at Chosen Hill. I love to include these as it's so important to get to know a couple before their big day and for them to feel more at ease in front of the camera.
This wedding was very bright and colourful, which is right up my street and suits my style of photography really well! I started out by getting some photos of their beautiful and colourful flowers. I made sure to get plenty of natural shots of everyone, these are my favourite photos to take!
Then there's lots of group photos and of course some lovely ones of the newlyweds on their own. This is always a nice time for a couple to have a few minutes alone together away from the buzz of their wedding day, however this couple only had their ceremony without the rest of the day due to covid!
