Cardiff Wedding Photography | Cardiff City Hall
Cardiff City Hall wedding photography by Cwmbran, South Wales, Gloucestershire, Bristol and Somerset photographer, Jackie Cuff.
Nicola & Richard got married in August 2021 at Cardiff City Hall and due to the pandemic they decided to have their ceremony and a sit down meal this year and a full wedding day next year. They had their very nearest and dearest there so it was a fairly intimate wedding in the St David's Suite of Cardiff City Hall. I arrived well in advance, seeing at least 3 other weddings taking place beforehand! A busy day for weddings in Cardiff! I made sure to get a few group photos of Richard with his friends and family just before the ceremony as was requested. The St. David's suite was beautiful with a colourful decor and fireplace. The confetti and group photos followed shortly after at the entrance of the building with some couple photos next to Gorsedd Gardens.
It was soon time for the newlyweds to travel in their gorgeous wedding car to Ty Mawr for dinner. Nicola & Richard had decided we'd take a little stop at Cefn Onn Park on our way, to get a few more couple photos.
We arrived at Ty Mawr with it's amazing views of the Severn Estuary, where I got lots of natural photos and shots of their little details such as their cake and place names.
Next we had our food, where I had my own place name, and it was delicious!
It was soon time for a couple of speeches from the groom, and his Best Man and son, Mitch before they had too many drinks! This was followed by the cutting of their cake, with three flavours of red velvet, lemon and vanilla. Very tasty!
Nic & Rich chose to book the flexible package which is the short day alternative with flexible timings where I'll be there for the moments you ask for without any extra fees or leaving when the time limit is up. They also chose to book in a pre-wedding photoshoot as an added extra (these are usually included in full day bookings to make sure we get to know each other in time for your wedding day) to help them feel more confident in front of the camera. In fact, to help them out even more, we had an extra pre-shoot to make sure they were comfortable with having their photos taken.
